WHO IS SFISA?

                   In Saskatchewan, working in forestry is considered a high-risk profession.  That is why the

                                  Saskatchewan Forest Industries Safety Association (SFISA) was formed;

                   To assist workers in acquiring the skills and knowledge to do their job safely.

                SFISA staff visit worksites throughout the province doing training, inspections, site evaluations

                                                         and noise level testing. We also offer consultation in OH&S and WCB matters,

                                                                             and assist members with accident investigations.

Mission Statement

Working with employers and employees in Saskatchewan's forest industry to provide a safe workplace through proactive education,

training programs, and the promotion of safe work practices, attitudes and behaviors.

Goal

To eliminate all potential and accidental losses in the forest industry.
